Intro
“The Loyal Discord Challenge”, the name speaks for itself. I recently obtained some gift vouchers from my local hobby store, and I wish to pass these on to my Discord community. With the help of Galloway, Hoardmimic, Brushlikker and BattleBrotherBrush, I’ve created this challenge to make it fun to participate for your chance to win one of 2 gift vouchers and more.

Participation and Rules:
For your chance to win, please make sure you are part of one of these three Discord servers:
Paint a Space Marine. Share your image before Friday 20th September. That is it! Well, technically.
When and where to post your miniature images:
Using one of the above Discord servers, post your “before” image, showing us what model you will be painting in it’s pre-painted state. Primed is fine.
Please place yourself into 1 of 2 categories. Either Beginner or Advanced. Be honest with your abilities. Judges have the right to change your category if you are *clearly* a more advanced painter trying to enter in the beginner section.
You can use your Discord post to update everyone with your painting progress and post your final painted piece.
Mission :

Choose any Space Marine to paint from old models and new, even 3D printed Space Marine proxies. Captains, lieutenants, sergeants etc are all welcome. However, strictly no Special Units, such as Mephiston or Dante. Just a simple Space Marine from a LOYAL chapter.

Paint your miniature in a LOYAL scheme. You can check the image below for some loyal chapter inspiration. But we also encourage creativity and your own personality shining through in your work.

The base of your miniature should be painted. No dioramas.

Judging will be split into two categories: Beginner and Advanced
How will the judging work?
The judges will look at 5 areas. These include:
- painting skills
- Execution
- Base (execution)
- Creativity
- Photography
Points will be awarded to each area and the winners will be those who scored the highest points collectively.

End date: Friday 20th September
Make sure to have your Photos uploaded on Friday 20th of September.
