Hello painters!
With great enthusiasm I announce my very first miniature painting workshop!
Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or painting miniatures for years: everyone is welcome. During this workshop we will work together with a Space Marine.
Do you want to paint an official Chapter, such as the Ultramarines, Blood Angels or Dark Angels? Or would you rather have your own Homebrew Chapter? Everything is possible!
I will guide you personally and adapt the workshop to your level and ambitions. The goal? That you go home with a Space Marine that you can be proud of.
The workshop
The workshop lasts about 6 hours, from 10:00 to 16:00.
We start with about 30 to 60 minutes of theory and demonstration. I explain what we are going to do, how we use our paint and materials and how we approach the painting process.
Then we'll get to work ourselves. I walk around, give personal advice and help you where necessary. So you certainly don't have to be afraid if you have little or no experience at all.
What can you learn?
During the workshop, different techniques can be discussed, depending on your level and what you would like to learn:
- Volumes and placing light on miniatures
- Smooth blends
- Edge highlights
- Grimdark techniques
- Speed painting
- Painting faces and eyes
- TMM (True Metallic Metal)
- NMM (Non-Metallic Metal)
- OSL (Glow effects on plasma)
Everything is negotiable. Do you especially want to learn how to quickly paint a playable Space Marine? No problem. Do you want to learn the techniques to make a display-quality model? Then we go for that together.
Not everyone wants to put their Space Marine in a display cabinet. Maybe you want to play with your army on the battlefield and make sure your models look fantastic anyway. We can also work towards that together.
What do you bring yourself?
You don't really have to bring almost anything.
- Your own brushes
- A law palette, if you have this
- Magnifying glasses
Don't have a palette? No problem.
What is included?
During the workshop you will have access to a wide selection of high-quality paints and materials:
• Citadel
• AK Interactive
• Vallejo
In addition, you get:
• 1 Space Marine, assembled and primed
• Water, coffee and soft drinks
• A snack, for example a sandwich with toppings
• Personal guidance throughout the entire workshop
So you don't have to bring your own miniatures, paint or other material.
Small group, personal guidance
There is room for a maximum of 6 participants per workshop.
By deliberately keeping the group small, I can personally guide everyone and spend enough time on your model, regardless of your experience.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have been painting miniatures for years: you are welcome.
